Certified Diesel Exhaust Fluid for KSA's Fleets & Industry
NitroPure DEF is a 32.5% high-purity urea solution manufactured to ISO 22241, DIN 70070 and VDA standards — SGS-verified, batch after batch. Protect your SCR systems, stay compliant with Saudi emissions regulations, and keep your fleet moving.
How SCR protects your fleet — and why DEF quality matters
Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) has been mandatory on all Euro 4/5/6 and EPA Tier 4 diesel engines since 2011. It uses DEF, injected upstream of the catalytic converter, to convert nitrogen oxides (NOx) — the toxic exhaust gases produced by diesel combustion — into harmless nitrogen and water vapor, delivering up to 90% NOx reduction without any loss of power or fuel economy. The chemistry only works if the DEF meets exact ISO 22241 specifications. Off-spec fluid degrades the SCR catalyst, triggering fault codes, limp mode and failed inspections — before eventually requiring a catalyst replacement that can run to tens of thousands of SAR per vehicle.
No DEF = no compliance
Modern diesel ECUs monitor DEF level continuously. As the tank empties, engine power is progressively restricted. A dry tank means the engine will not restart until DEF is refilled and the system resets.
Fluid quality directly affects catalyst life
Impurities or incorrect urea concentration in DEF foul the SCR catalyst. A catalyst replacement on a single heavy-duty truck can cost SAR 30,000–80,000. Certified DEF is the lowest-cost form of SCR protection.
Consumption scales with fleet size
DEF consumption runs at 4–8% of diesel consumption for trucks and up to 10% for heavy plant. A 50-truck fleet using 400 L of diesel per vehicle per week burns through approximately 800–1,600 L of DEF weekly — making supply reliability as critical as fuel supply.
ISO 22241-certified DEF — the standard your fleet depends on
NitroPure DEF is a precise blend of 32.5% high-purity urea and 67.5% deionized water, manufactured to ISO 22241, DIN 70070 and VDA standards — the same specifications required by every major engine manufacturer. Each batch is independently verified by SGS in Saudi Arabia. Here is what that means for your fleet:
Dramatically cuts NOx emissions
Converts nitrogen oxides in diesel exhaust into harmless nitrogen gas and water vapor — removing the pollutant responsible for smog and respiratory health risks.
Emissions-legal now and in future
Meets Euro 4/5/6 and EPA Tier 4 standards so vehicles pass inspection and access low-emission zones. Keeps your fleet ahead of tightening GCC regulations.
Protects engine & SCR — extends lifespan
Correct-spec DEF prevents catalyst fouling and costly SCR repairs. SCR technology also reduces carbon deposit buildup inside the engine, cutting maintenance frequency and extending engine life.
Optimises combustion for better fuel economy
SCR lets engines run at their optimal combustion temperature without compromising emissions — improving fuel efficiency across the fleet without reducing power output.
Prevents limp mode & unplanned downtime
Modern diesels enter limp mode and eventually won’t restart once the DEF tank runs dry. A reliable supply keeps vehicles earning, not waiting at the roadside.
Non-toxic, non-flammable & biodegradable
In the safest minimum-risk category for fluids — no special storage permits or handling equipment required. Any spillage evaporates without contaminating soil or water.
Quality your SCR system — and your compliance record — can depend on
Off-spec DEF causes more fleet downtime and emissions failures than almost any other consumable. NitroPure removes that risk — and because DEF is dosed from a dedicated tank, it is never mixed with your diesel fuel.
Premium SABIC-Sourced Urea
We use only high-quality, industrial-grade urea from SABIC, ensuring optimal performance for your SCR system in every batch.
Guaranteed Compliance
Meets and exceeds ISO 22241, DIN 70070 and VDA standards — stay legal and avoid costly emissions fines and failed inspections.
Protects Your Investment
Off-spec fluid damages SCR systems and fails emissions tests. NitroPure protects your engines and keeps fuel economy on target.
Reliable Local Supply
Produced and SGS-tested in Saudi Arabia, so your fleet has consistent access — without long import lead times or shortages.

How much DEF does your fleet consume?
DEF consumption is directly proportional to diesel use and easy to forecast. Trucks typically consume 4–8% of their diesel volume in DEF, while off-road and heavy plant equipment can use 5–10%. Exact rates vary by engine type, load and duty cycle. Use these benchmarks to size your bulk order and ensure uninterrupted supply.
Heavy-Duty Trucks
4–8% of diesel consumption. A long-haul truck burning 500 L of diesel/week uses 20–40 L of DEF. A 20-truck fleet needs 400–800 L/week. International-route fleets can consume up to 2,500 L/year per truck.
Quick Fleet Estimate
Monthly DEF volume ≈ Monthly diesel volume × 4–8%. Example: a fleet consuming 100,000 L of diesel/month requires 4,000–8,000 L of DEF — deliverable in drums, IBC totes or a bulk tanker.
Off-Road & Heavy Plant
Off-road vehicles, generators and heavy plant typically consume DEF at 5–10% of diesel use. A heavy-duty tractor can use up to 2,500 L/year. A 500 kW generator running 24/7 may require 300–600 L of DEF per week.
